Of the 18 assessed sites, 17 hold the top rating 'excellent' and one is rated 'good', representing an excellent rate of around 94 percent. The region is characterised by shallow, warm still waters set in a gentle hilly landscape in eastern Austria. No rivers or coastal waters are included.
