Sicilia

Sicily has 889 bathing sites, all located along the coast. Of the 864 officially assessed sites, 716 are rated 'excellent' – around 83 percent. A further 85 are rated good, 40 sufficient, and 23 poor. There are no lake or river bathing sites in this region; the focus is entirely on coastal waters. The island's bathing water quality is therefore predominantly high. All assessed sites can be searched and filtered by quality rating on nextlake.eu.
